Bembridge Coast Hotel

Bembridge Coastal Village once owned by George V’s Lord in Waiting, Bembridge Coast Hotel overlooks the Solent. And the late Queen Mother came here to watch the yachts racing during Cowes Week. The hotel has a wonderful beach, and is an ideal base for touring the Isle of Wight. Balcony rooms allow guests to enjoy the sunrise over the Solent, followed by a dinner in the Four Tides restaurant. Then there is the option of live music and dancing in our Late Lounge. During your stay, why not take a long coastal walk, or come and try archery, bowls or rifle shooting with tuition from one of the lovely team.

Review

Great hotel. Room was spotlessly clean with fridge, teas/coffees. Everything you could possibly want. Staff are always polite, friendly and professional. The standard of food never ceases to amaze me. Fabulous!

Just returned from a lovely break at Bembridge. Sea view room makes all difference. Excellent entertainment. Comfortable clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Wide choice of menu and really well cooked food.

We have just returned from 4 nights at Bembridge. This is not our first trip to this hotel and as usual we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in a Signature patio room. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with crisp, white linen. The bathroom had a walk in shower which suited our needs. The bathroom could have been a little cleaner, particularly the chrome radiator, but it wasn’t bad enough for me to complain at the time. The evening entertainment was excellent, particularly on the last night when the in house team continuously entertained from early evening to very late, well done them, I wish I had some of their energy!! The food was good although having the same veg every night got a little boring. Service in the restaurant doesn’t seem as good as it was in January as there appears to be fewer waiting staff trying to cope with more people. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again at some time.

Booked 5 night stay. First time at Bembridge. From the moment we arrived, could not believe how friendly the staff were, every single one was so nice. We made it a task trying to find the best Mr or Mrs Grumpy. No such person works there. We were allocated seating in dining room also in hall for the 5 nights. Both were exceptional positions. Must admit some seats tables in hall/ballroom were squashed in like sardines. Our room was really nice, with sea views, very clean and tidy, spacious. Cleaned every day by most friendly and helpful lady. By time we left was more like a friend.
Food was really good, very big choice for breakfast and good choice evening meal.
I purchased signature deal. Sorry but not worth it at all. Dressed table was table cloth and battery operated candle. Two cocktails. Waitress service was allocated to All tables, so definitely didn’t feel special occasion to me. But hey you live and learn. It certainly didn’t spoil a fab week end. Entertainment crew were best I have seen. They did showcase Friday night and Sunday night. Fab, worked so hard. Sat night was my highlight Men of Soul. Wished we could have danced till 2. They had place rocking. Well done Warner’s for booking great trio. Would definitely go back again
