Gunton Hall Coastal Village has a distinctly rural feel; it may be within walking distance of the beach, but it's surrounded by Suffolk woodland, gardens, a picturesque lake and pitch and putt course. It’s a relaxing seaside destination, within driving distance to the Norfolk Broads or the famous village of Southwold. There is a range of rooms, from luxury Royale rooms, which are part of the original historic building, to stunning lodges or simpler chalets in the gardens. The village square, bowls and leisure centre and large dance floor create the buzzing, sociable atmosphere that Warner is well known for.
Warner Hotels have great food
Take a dip in the pool
We came here on a coach tour, the price as it included transport and excursions was very good, less than £200 for four nights. Gunton Hall is located at an old holiday camp, but don't let that put you off, the chalets have all been recently refurbished and are very good, ours even had two tellies! Some of the chalets are quite a distance from the main hall, so if you have walking difficulties this hould be taken into accountThe food as at other Warners is a mix of buffet and table served and it always works well. Entertainment was very good. The location is excellent, there is a quite a bit of walking to be done on site and the bus to Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth is a short walk away, OAP passes can be used..
Visited for Motown week end. The entertainment team were fantastic. They did a Queen night which was amazing. They all had really good voices and were actually better performers than the Saturday act. The food was good and our accommodation was excellent.
First time at Warner's for a three day break. Beautiful room, great entertainment every evening and brilliant food. Had lovely breakfasts and great choice of evening meals. My wife has food allergies and they were brilliant in offering her alternatives if there was nothing on the menu she could eat. Would thoroughly recommend. Going to another Warner's in July for wedding anniversary enjoyed it so much.
Another good break at Gunton Hall.As usual all the staff went out of their way to make you stay enjoyable.
We did have a problem with My Warner table. When we arrived and checked in we were shown to our restaurant table and our table in the Lounge this was fine. However at dinner another guest told me that he had got our table in the lounge and we had been moved.I straight away went to reception to find out what was going on (I had booked this area back in September last year) Reception told me we had been moved to the dance floor,I told them this was not ok as my partner is disabled and we always ask for the area that we had booked. A short time later a young lady called Sara came to the restaurant to see me and sorted the problem out very efficiently so we had our original seats and a complimentary drink.
Our waiter for our stay was Elliot who could not do enough for us.
The in house entertainment team seamed to be smaller than usual.
The guest act was The Fallen Angels who were excellent.
We are now looking forward to our next break at Gunton Hall in September.
