Thoresby Hall Hotel one of Nottinghamshire's most important houses, Thoresby’s original features are still enjoyed by Warner’s guests today. There are deep armchairs in the vaulted splendour of the Great Hall, and the house’s broad terrace overlooks a croquet lawn and acres of classic parkland. The rooms vary from historic sumptuous four-posters to our simpler standard rooms. There’s a wide range of activities available, from fencing to falconry, and live music every night.
Warner Hotels have great pools
Take a dip in the pool
Just back from a four night midweek break at Thoresby Hall Our room ,a signature was clean well presented with a comfy bed .It was close to reception so not too far to walk but it was a little noisy at times, but nothing to bad. The hotel is very restful and the gardens are lovely. The staff are friendly and the gardeners will answer any questions you may have and will always stop for a chat. The food was very good always hot and well presented our waitress Sandra was so hard working , knowledgeable and hard working and made sure we had everything we wanted thank you Sandra. This is our third Warner break this year and we have two more booked Warner will have to maintain or improve standards to keep people coming back time after time. Watch your prices it is becoming expensive.
Just returned from a midweek break with my parents, thoroughly enjoyed by us all.
Special mention must go to 2 particular members of staff who went out of their way to make our stay extra special - Jackie, our friendly waitress, efficient and cheerful despite being super busy every breakfast and dinner time. Also, the lovely Sarah who is the most amazing reflexologist.
Great food and entertainment. 😊
Just done a 60s weekend at thoresby hall. Fabulous. The food, accommodation, gardens and service all excellent. Entertainment was brilliant and though all the artists were great and very well received, none quite matched up to the firebirds performance, but they did set the bar very high. What a group. Everyone we spoke to raved about the firebirds performance. Can’t wait to see them again. A lot of couples wanted to get up and jive so hows about a fifties weekend in the near future? The other point was that having a proper dj was great. He kept the dance floor full in between acts.
Never having stayed in a Warners Hotel before we were most impressed with our Historic Room. Cost a bit more but well worth it. We were looked after by Sam, who was very helpful. It took a little while to find our bearings but it is clearly signed for various parts. We took part in many of the daytime entertainment, Archery, Crossbow and Rifle Shooting and particularly enjoyed Gavin’s Quizzes. Plenty of choice for meals, you couldn’t go hungry and was a good standard considering the number of people they are providing for. All Staff were very helpful and cheerful and we certainly will be back
